Corporate Social Responsibility Manifesto
Kandha Consulting was founded in Canada with a belief that how we do business matters as much as the work we deliver. We want our choices to strengthen communities, respect people, and care for the planet.
Supporting a stronger local economy
When choosing businesses to work with and products to purchase, we seek opportunities to support Canadian small businesses, businesses owned and operated by Indigenous peoples, and businesses owned and operated by women. We approach these relationships with respect and a commitment to fair dealing.
Thoughtful Canadian sourcing
Our company swag is produced in Canada. We aim to keep the benefits of our spending close to home while considering the materials and waste involved in what we create.
Our Planet First approach
Our Planet First approach puts landfill waste reduction into practice. We look for ways to reuse and repurpose materials that might otherwise end up in landfills. When our electronic equipment is worn out, we take it to electronics recycling bins at Best Buy locations for responsible disposal. We will keep looking for practical ways to reduce waste as Kandha grows.
Marketing with integrity
Our marketing should be honest, respectful, and consistent with our values. We will not use misleading claims or exploit people, cultures, or communities to promote our business.
Protecting the dignity and future of children
Children deserve safety, education, and the freedom to grow. Kandha opposes child labour, exploitation, and practices that harm children. We will not knowingly work with an organization engaged in such practices.
These commitments guide the everyday decisions behind our work—from the partners we choose to the materials we purchase and the promises we make. As Kandha grows, we intend to grow our positive impact with it.
